November 22nd:

Web site is finally back online. Server provider shut down, and so we had to find a new one. I plan to do some work on it in the near future, adding some Youtube stuff, etc. For now: There are three new screens shots in the Member section. Got some good Wagnerites shots for me? Please e-mail them to bogope@gmail.com. Congratz to Brynte who most recently hit lvl 80.

August 11th:

Come join the Wagnerites Facebook group. You need to be registered with Facebook.

June 13th:

The Guild Vault section of the Rules and Guidelines has been updated. Please notice 3.5:

3.1. All Wagnerites with member rank or above have access to the guild vault/guild bank. Vaults can be found near the regular bank in any of the major cities.

3.2 There are currently three tabs available. You get access to these by clicking on the “+” icons in the right side of the vault window.

3.3 All members are free to take what they can use from the vault (please remember to deposit stuff occasionally, too). Mainly deposit items that are of some use to other players, i.e. you can put grey items there but don’t overdo it.

3.4 The term “use” in 3.3 includes items that you can personally use for quests, professions, and reputation gain. Grey items, however, may be removed and sold to vendors.

3.5 Any guild member who violates rules 3.3 and 3.4 will be instantly demoted without prior warning, and he or she will have to re-apply for guild vault access. The guild officers will determine whether or not such access should be granted.

3.6 The guildmaster and officers will remove and sell items from time to time in order to maintain free space. The money from these transactions will be added to the guild’s money tab.

June 21th:

Dear Fellow Guild Members

As you have all been made aware by daily log-on messages, all Wagnerites members are required to read the Guild Rules and Guidelines. Please make sure that you do so.

In regard to Rule 2.4 about boost and help requests:

One of the major benefits of being in a guild is that you have fellow players to ask for advice, to help you complete particularly difficult quests, and to help defend you against hostile enemy players.

The members of Wagnerites are all friendly people, and we love the game. We have great respect for all players - no matter what level - who sincerely strive to partake in the game community, and who wish to contribute to the overall enjoyment of us all.

WoW is a social game, and Wagnerites is a social guild. If you'd like to be part of the community, we'd love to give you a hand. Certainly. It really doesn't matter how many ally players you have killed, or how fast you reached level 80. If you do not understand how to engage and communicate with other players, you will never become a first rate WoW player. We all know this. We all accept this challenge. That's why we're in a guild.

However, in the world of Azeroth as in real life, respect is something that has to be earned. You want people to help you and give you a boost from time to time? Great. Start by proving to your fellow guild members that you are worth it. Prove to us that you're not just a free rider looking for easy ways out. Do some chatting. Talk to people. Make yourself part of the guild community before you start asking fellow player to spend time and energy boosting you. Be friendly.

And always respect a no for an answer. Getting a no doesn't mean that people are being mean, or that they don't like you. It just means that they're busy. Be happy when people have time to help. Respect a no when they don't.

In regard to Rule 3.3 about the guild vault:

The guild vault is like a guild-O-meter. It tells us how we're doing. It tells us how much we appreciate and trust one another.

People deposit stuff because they care about their fellow guild members. It takes time and effort to farm - even at level 80 - and putting stuff in the vault is a friendly gesture. It should be appreciated.

The whole idea of the vault is that you're allowed to take what you actually need. It's why we have it, so you never have to feel bad about making a withdrawal. Go fetch.

However, we trust you. Do not betray the trust of fellow guild members by simply looting the guild for your own (financial) benefit. Need wool cloth for first aid skills? You can take the wool cloth in the vault. But do not take the wool cloth just to sell it and make gold. Doing so will be making a mockery of your fellow guild members, and it will not be accepted.
